Melinda is Manager of Customer Advocacy at COUNTRY Financial and responsible for improving transactional customer communications through strategic planning, enterprise-wide prioritization, and intentional coordination of resources. Under her leadership, more than 500 customer communications (and counting) have been rewritten to be easy to understand and consistent with the brand, using standard processes and customer feedback. Melinda joined COUNTRY Financial in 1994, spending the majority of her tenure leading the company’s public relations team. She holds BA and MS degrees in journalism and communications. Prior to her career in insurance and financial services, she worked 12 years as a newspaper reporter.
